Utah Cost Per Click (CPC & PPC) Management

Cost Per Click Advertising also known as Pay Per Click marketing as well as CPC and PPC is a simple way to see instant results in your online advertising campaign. Many of our clients combine our search engine optimization services with a CPC campaign to speed up results. SEO can take months to see results, while CPC can be effective within just hours of going live.

So why not just use CPC advertising instead of organic SEO? Because CPC costs money. For every click your ad receives you are charged a small amount. If you’re targeted vertical is competitive, you could see click rates up to $30. Most campaigns we manage have an average CPC of $1 to $3. This may seem cheap, but you would be amazed at how fast your account can get into the 1000′s of dollars if you keep your budget wide open. Here is a short video that explains how Google Adwords works:

Marketing by interrupting people isn’t cost-effective anymore. You can’t afford to seek out people and send them unwanted marketing messages, in large groups, and hope that some will send you money.

That looks really easy right? It is. Anyone can easily setup an Adwords account on Google in just a few minutes. The reason you pay for someone like us to do this for you is the experience, account monitoring, and conversion metrics. In order to maximize clicks while keeping your costs down you have to maintain a rigorous testing program.

Cost per click will fluctuate on a daily basis, impressions will go up and down, and the times of day people click that buy are extremely important to track. Not to mention targeting the right customers. You don’t want someone in Philadelphia clicking on your painting ad when you live in Northern, Utah.

We do this for you. Even though you can setup your own account and start using pay per click to send traffic to your site, it would take you months to figure out how to maximize conversions and by that time you would have spent way more money then you would ever pay us. So what type of CPC services do we provide?

Pay Per Click Marketing Isn’t For Everyone

Utah PPC

Paying for clicks is not recommended if you have a low price scale. What I mean is, if you’re an online retailer and you’re offering books for sale, it may not be wise to pay for ads in order to drive traffic to your website. The cost to conversion ratios just wouldn’t make sense. By the time you actually sold a book after ad spend, time spent, and shipping costs you would probably be over budget.

We recommend pay per click for large price scale companies. For example; if just one customer generates a large profit per transaction, pay per click may be a great business model for you. An example would be a real estate agent who makes thousands of dollars on just one conversion, or a lawyer who can also make thousands on one client and see repeat visits.

For other business models such as a local painter or an eCommerce business, pay per click won’t bring enough profits unless you can advertise on a massive scale. Profit margins for these types of businesses are usually very slim as it is, so I would recommend you think more about an organic search engine campaign instead. We are here to provide you with the details you need to make an educated decision on the best method to grow your business.
